From Inspiration to Intention is a book written to address the recurring theme of,”there has to be more to life than what I have experienced to this time in my life”. There has never been a time in the history of humanity when there was a greater need to understand who we are and what we are capable of experiencing. Never has there been a time in the history of humanity when there have been more people awakening to this desire to know. The intention of this book is to offer different perspectives about life and each of our respective lives so that we might realize and accept the role (responsibility) we play in the creation of our life experiences. This is done through intention—conscious, deliberate intention of what we desire and expect from and of life. Creating life with and through intention is the conscious engagement in the process of life as one desires to experience life. As you consider creating your life experiences intentionally, do so with an expectation and definitiveness of how your life will unfold, but do so without any attachment to the outcome. This might seem to be a contradiction. Create how you desire your life to unfold, yet do so without any attachment to how it unfolds. What we are really looking to create are the experiences of life not the end result. We’ve often heard it said that it’s all about the journey not the destination. How we come to have the experiences is not as important as the fact that we create them and we embrace them. Creating with intention without an attachment to the outcome opens up the infinite possibilities that exist and can be. Yet, creating with intention also acts as a funnel allowing in only those possibilities that are truly in alignment with our desired experience. Intention begins the selection process of the infinite choices and possibilities available to us. When we create and live with intention our life unfolds as we desire it to be and not merely by default. So the question becomes; “Would you rather live intentionally and consciously engaged in the creation process, or unconsciously, by accepting life as it shows up by default? Our life experiences are either created consciously through intention or unconsciously through default. Either way we are co-creators of our life experiences.
